Elena Jafari

About
Elena Jafari is a second-year undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a major in Psychobiology. She is interested in neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer's and related dementias, and their underlying pathology. Elena's previous research experience included contributing to a clinical study on elderly dementia patients. Outside of BRAINSport, she is a member of FPA at UCLA and UCLA's Survivor Club. She also enjoys hiking and exploring national parks. Elena hopes to continue researching the brain and contributing to novel treatments for neurological disorders.
