Rishit Bhat

Rishit Bhat is a first-year undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Rishit's previous research experiences revolved around the synthesis of benzimidazoles via the binding of different functional groups onto organic compounds to inhibit the KRAS gene. As a former high school athlete and a huge fan of sports, Rishit joined BrainSPORT to combine his passion for the world of sports with his ambition to expand his knowledge of research methodology within the context of neuroscience and brain health. Outside the realm of academics, Rishit enjoys playing basketball, football, and working out. Rishit is following the pre-med pathway during his undergraduate studies, with hopes of being a doctor in the future.
