William Smith

William Smith is a third-year undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.  William is interested in research regarding neurological health are how neurological health relates to mood, hormones, psychological and physical health, physical and mental performance and recovery, as well as social interactions.  A fun fact about William Smith is that I represented UCLA at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu, China, competing as a member of Team USA Taekwondo Sparring. As Collegiate National Champion, William has also represented UCLA at the 2022 Pan-American games in Mexico, where he won Silver as an individual and helped lead the 3V3 sparring group to bronze medals.  William also has a deep love of animals and have an interest in being a veterinarian.
